Sustainability

We believe great products should last. That’s why we prioritise quality materials, considered sourcing, and responsible fulfilment across everything we offer.

Every order placed with Glassware UK contributes to reducing the environmental impact of ecommerce delivery. We calculate the estimated carbon emissions from shipping and invest in verified carbon removal projects to balance it out. These initiatives include soil carbon capture and large-scale reforestation programmes designed to restore ecosystems and remove carbon from the atmosphere.

Where possible, we work with suppliers who share our commitment to durability and responsible production. Long-lasting products reduce waste, and that’s a core part of how we think about sustainability.

Our packaging is also continually reviewed to minimise excess while ensuring your glassware arrives safely.

We know sustainability is an ongoing process, not a finished job. We’re committed to improving every step of the journey, from production to delivery.

Care Instructions

To keep your glassware looking its best, we recommend gentle handling and regular care.

Most items are suitable for dishwasher use, but hand washing with warm water and a mild detergent will help preserve clarity and finish over time. Avoid abrasive sponges or harsh cleaning products, as these can cause scratching or clouding.

Dry with a soft, lint-free cloth to prevent water marks and maintain a polished appearance.

For delicate or fine glassware, always wash by hand and avoid sudden temperature changes, as this can weaken the glass.

Store carefully to prevent chips or knocks, especially around rims and stems.

With the right care, quality glassware can maintain its brilliance for years to come.

Breakage Guarantee

Our promise

If your glassware arrives broken or damaged, we'll replace it or refund it free of charge. Every order is packed with protective wrapping and sent with DPD or InPost, but glass occasionally breaks in transit, and when it does we'll put it right quickly.

This policy covers orders placed directly on our website. Orders placed through Amazon are handled through Amazon's own returns and damage process.
